Visual and auditory feedback greatly enhances confidence building and state changing. You are mirrored. Hypnosis and NLP can provide the inner experience and feelings of confidence and other positive states. But recent neuroscience work on the mirror-neuron system and phantom limbs show that the brain likes to work with the visual evidence. I’ve been video recording clients as they create different states or move from, for example, depression to openness, failure to success.
